Our Mission: 

Everyone deserves an opportunity to pursue music! Try a woodwind instrument! 

Empowering Woodwinds was founded as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization by high school musicians with a dual mission on advocating classical music education and fostering community engagement. Our talented volunteer musicians are committed to provide free introductory music lessons and make woodwinds' music education more accessible to everyone. 

Empowering Woodwinds serves as a platform and community to connect like-minded young musicians of different background to inspire each other, exchange and share musical ideas, performance opportunities, master classes, summer programs, instrument care and maintenance tips, educational videos, repair technicians and our achievements!  

We believe music has the power to touch, heal and inspire. Through collaborating and presenting free live music performances for our local community, we hope our passion of music can spark joy, bring comfort and reach the hearts of people at all ages, fostering a more compassionate and connected world. 

Enthusiasm is contagious! We hope our student-led project will set an example, inspire and empower more young students to explore this magnificent art form!
