Our Mission:
Everyone deserves an opportunity to pursue music! Try a woodwind instrument!
Empowering Woodwinds was founded as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization to provide free educational resources and make woodwinds' music education more accessible to everyone. Our key goal is to support passionate young woodwinds' musicians who may not have access or be able to afford the equipment, accessories and private music lessons, through offering free online introductory music lessons taught by talented volunteer high school musicians, collecting and sharing donated retired or refurbished woodwind instruments and accessories from senior musicians to students who are in need.
Empowering Woodwinds also aims to serve as a platform to connect like-minded young musicians to exchange and share musical ideas, find educational information including performance opportunities, master classes, summer programs, instrument care and maintenance tips, educational videos, repair technicians. Most importantly we believe music has the power to touch, heal and inspire, through collaborating and organizing free live performances for the community, we hope our passion of music can reach the hearts of people at all ages, inspire and empower young musicians!
